Sally  - October  -  "Great location, excellent check-in arrangements. Lovely warm welcome from Mary and super tips for what to do and where to eat in the area.”

Beautiful space in a fab location right on Bruton’s high street. Even though it is above shops we weren’t disturbed by anything at all. Just over the road from at the chapel which is great for freshly baked croissants / bread in the morning as well as genuinely fantastic coffee. The rooms are all really large, beds very comfy and fittings beautiful and homely. Loved it for us and our little girl!

"The perfect location to explore Bruton. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and rather stylish! It is well equipped and Mary offered good recommendations for the local area. A meal at The Chapel was a simple hop over the road!! I would whole heartedly recommend..”

The flat is a beautiful place to stay, very spacious and comfortable. Mary is a fantastic host - she always replied to my queries very quickly and the information sent over for check in was really useful. We attended a wedding locally and the flat was perfect as our base. The rooms are all very spacious and clean and the location on the high street is great - near a couple of pubs and the convenience stores. Parking for more than one car isn't ideal but that is a reflection on the town more than the flat and can't be helped! We did always manage to find somewhere to park, even if it was a short walk away. Would definitely recommend the flat as a lovely place to stay! “Thank you for being a brilliant host - your hospitality was amazing, allowing us to check out late on the Sunday was very much appreciated! The flat is beautiful and very spacious and was a pleasure to stay in!”

21 Bruton is a fabulous house and I would recommend it 100%. Very spacious with large bedrooms, and all the amenities you would need. Perfectly located in Bruton and calm and peaceful. The garden is a little oasis. Mary is very quick and efficient to respond and has supplied lots of local information about the area. Spotlessly clean and a thoughtful welcome pack of bread and milk and tea! We would stay there again. Thank you Mary!

This is a high quality house right in the center of Bruton and its community. The facilities area super; it is vey comfortable and has both character and charm. Support and communication from the owners was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed staying there.

We were a group of 5 friends and loved staying at Mary's beautiful house. Its actually much better than the pictures and very spacious. (we played a game of hide and seek in the house) We cooked a lot and the kitchen, dinner space and outside area were perfect to share meals. Odd detail but we were also a big fan of the flowers outside. All in all a lovely stay in a beautiful area!

Mary’s house was perfectly located for our stay in Bruton for a friends wedding (bonus points for being opposite ‘at the chapel - had the most incredible almond croissant there!) Mary gave us lots of tips and information before we arrived and made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay: leaving us bread, milk tea and eggs and even being kind enough to allow us a late check out the day after the wedding. 21 Bruton is a beautiful home and I hope to stay again if I am ever in the area. Thank you so much!

Julian - April  -  I don't think there could be a better place to stay in Bruton. It is spacious, well decorated and perfectly located.

21 Bruton is an absolute gem! It could not be better located across from At The Chapel for the best bread, pizzas and wine, and a short walk to Hauser & Wirth. Despite the rain everyday (unlucky), we had super relaxing evenings next to the roaring fire with takeaway from across the road. It’s very spacious, bigger than the photos suggest even, with 3 nice-sized bedrooms plus a small extra space for a cot. Mary is a fantastic host - extremely accommodating about everything we needed for our 1year old, and kindly left the kitchen well stocked with fresh eggs, milk and fruit. We will definitely return!

Emma - February -  Lovely house, beautifully decorated, great location and amenities.

Barry - February  -  A great house in a brilliant location. Visited as a family of 5 and had a great long weekend. House is perfectly located in Bruton with amenities (shops, restaurant, pub) literally on the door step. The chapel restaurant opposite is great for breakfast lunch or dinner! Mary is a great host and is speedy to reply and very helpful with all queries. We all had a smashing time.

Jacquetta - January

We loved our stay in 21 Bruton. Everything about it was generous! - the space, the amenities, the provisions. I would love to come again in the summer, but even in the pouring rain Bruton and the house were a delight. The house was warm and cozy, the log fire was an extra bonus. We explored the Town Trail, visited Hauser and Wirth twice, walked to the Dove cot and of course frequented At the Chapel. The Spar is the most well provisioned I've ever come across, Kimbers Farm shop a must-visit for cider and other Somerset specialities. Further afield, we went to Stourhead, Glastonbury Tor and the Avalon Marshes to see the starling murmuration. An excellent January holiday. Thank you.
