Mary's place was a charming, lovely, warm and very centrally located right in front of the amazing At the Chapel restaurant. Mary was a great host and everything was very easy!

'A beautiful property with plenty of space and character, it exceeded our expectations and we are very happy we choose this one. The location is fantastic with everything you need on the high street and the Chapel opposite is a wonderful bonus! Thank you to Mary for making our stay so lovely.

We had a great stay at Mary's place in Bruton. The location couldn't be better being in the middle of the high street. It's directly opposite a lovely restaurant in a converted chapel (called 'At the Chapel') that also has a Bakery which was perfect for fresh bread and pastries for breakfast. The flat, itself, is large and on two floors above a shop. The photos don't really do it justice. All the rooms are big with the 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor being particularly impressive. The beds are all king size and very, very comfortable. The main bathroom is on the 1st floor. but this was not an issue and, anyway, the main bedroom has a good sized ensuite. The living room is very large and comfortable with a great open log fire (all logs supplied). The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. Mary was an excellent host. We collected the keys from the shop below and then Mary popped in to say hello and check everything was ok. She had also generously provided some provisions (bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee, cake and a bottle of wine) which meant we didn't have to rush out to the shops when we first arrived. We had a very relaxing, enjoyable weekend and would certainly return.

Mary is a welcoming and friendly person and conveniently working in the shop below the apartment. The apartment is centrally located in Bruton opposite a great bar/cafe/restaurant called The Chapel, and is very clean and quiet. It was fantastic to have a walled and private garden at the back of the house and also to be able to light a fire in the sitting room on a winter's evening.

Mary was lovely and the flat very comfy and spacious, with some really thoughtful touches. The location right on the High Street opposite At The Chapel -a handsome building which all the front windows look onto- was great for us too. We hope to return.

Stayed at Mary's brilliant house with some friends for a wedding nearby. Really excellent place - lots of space, very comfortable with everything you'd want, and great location right in the midst of everything. Didn't want to leave!

We had a lovely stay at 21 Bruton. The flat was very comfortable and well appointed for our family of 4. We enjoyed exploring Bruton and the surrounding area in Somerset. The house was well located in the center of town, convenient to a number of shops and restaurants

Great location and a lovely flat with plenty of room and very comfortably furnished.

“Mary was a wonderful and helpful host who was quick to answer questions both over Airbnb and in person when she's in her lovely shop downstairs! The accommodation is beautiful and was perfect for 3 couples attending a wedding locally. It's location is great right in the middle of Bruton within easy walking distance of some great places to eat.”
